Inside track
Fulbeck Kart Circuit, home to Fulbeck Karting, is a gem in the heart of Lincolnshire. Originally a racing ground for home-built machines around an aircraft hanger at RAF Fulbeck, it has evolved into a 930-metre long circuit, boasting long straights interjected with hairpins and bus stop chicanes.
To get there, you drive down a long, poorly maintained access road with car-wrecking potholes (a bumpy ride in the van!). The cafe is only open at very specific hours.
Track surface is in very poor condition with some large rough patches craters. It’s good value for money, but don't expect anything fancy at all!
About the karts
GX-UK Karts are an affordable owner-driver series using two-stroke style chassis and sealed Honda GX engines. See my OTK / Tony Kart build here.
