Fast footage

This recording, captured by Racing Dean features footage from the C Final. Owing to some messy heats, I would qualify almost last for the final, despite some promising speed earlier in the day. Driving cautiously, I manage a 51.39 second lap, climbing from 11th to 7th.

Driver notes

Preferred overtaking spots:

Ellough Park kart circuit presents lots of opportunities for overtaking - especially for the brave. I never managed to pull off a good move at the end of the main straight over the start-finish line, but it can be done. Instead, these are my favourite spots:

1/
End of the back straight, near the pits.

2/
Infield chicane, before the high speed complex.

Kart review:

Club100 karts are pretty much the fastest thing you can drive without owning a kart. My kart in the final was especially fast, while my karts in Heats 2 and 3 had some top end and braking issues respectively.

Value for money:

This footage was taken from the C Final of a sprint weekend with Club100 costs £219.00 per round inc. + £50.00 one-off registration fee. I paid an additional £105 (inc. VAT) for a 30 min test before the race.

Inside track

The vibe at Ellough Raceway is good, with frequent skydiving interjections from Ellough airfield, over the road. The track itself is very high quality - flat with nice curbs. The facilities are a bit meek, with poor toilets and limited food options. Bring your own lunch!
