About Buckmore Park

Buckmore Park has a storied legacy in the world of British karting. Founded over half a century ago, this circuit has evolved into a cornerstone of UK motorsports. Famed for its challenging layout that combines high-speed straights with intricate turns, it's a track that tests drivers both mentally and physically.

Over the years, Buckmore Park has not only been a recreational haven for karting enthusiasts but also a pivotal training ground for numerous F1 champions, including Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton. Its rich history and modern facilities make it a must-visit destination for every racing aficionado.

In 2015, John Surtees (7 time Motorcycle World Champion and Ferrari F1 World Champion), bought Buckmore, upgrading all the circuit facilities. Sadly, John died in 2017, with his daughter, Leonora Martell-Surtees, now at the helm.

Comment from Karting Track Guides

“Buckmore Park favours the brave. Your maximum speeds are seldom spent going in a straight line and flying down the hill through “The Essess” into “Paddock” separates the best from rest. The track and facilities are 10/10. It’s always a pleasure to race here.”
